About VoD
VoD contains the feminist rantings of me (Persephone Pomegranate), an introverted zinester living a reclusive life in the mountains. I’m also a multi media artist, vegan, atheist and suffer from GAD (General Anxiety Disorder)
I’ve always followed the abortion debate closely since I feel very strongly about women’s rights. However, I’ve been following things much more closely the past couple of months after having my first abortion in January. I’ve always been pro-choice but in a much more abstract way. Actually being faced with an unwanted pregnancy made me realize how important it is not only for abortion to remain legal and safe but also to remain readily available for all women regardless of income.
Being in the thick of things so intently these past few months have inspired me to start a blog to voice my opinions on the things I’m reading and experiencing.
